PASE Online is an E-Learning Platform that was a Mastercard Foundation-sponsored project at Ghana Tech Lab in 2020. As the Product Designer, I led the design from concept to delivery, overcoming time constraints and high stakeholder involvement.
However, through strategic collaboration, iterative design improvements, and early developer involvement, we successfully met our goal, providing digital skills training to thousands of young Ghanaians. The platform successfully trained over 5000 unemployed youth in Ghana, equipping them with essential digital skills.
I collaborated with the project manager and development team to make sure this project was successfully completed and implemented.

Goals
Unemployment is a major challenge for young people in Ghana, with limited opportunities for stable jobs or career growth.
To tackle this, Mastercard Foundation partnered with Ghana Tech Lab to create a platform that aimed trained 5000+ unemployed youth in digital skills, equipping them with the tools to secure jobs or start their own businesses.
How I tackled the project...

Research
I researched learner needs, tested wireframes with users, and refined the design to make it more accessible and engaging.

Stakeholder Approval
I presented the designs to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback to ensure the platform aligned with business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.

Design Hand-off
I handed off high-fidelity prototypes, design specs, and interaction guidelines to developers, collaborating to ensure accurate implementation, responsive behavior, and accessibility standards.

Solution
I designed a web-based e-learning platform for Digital PASE, making digital skills training accessible to unemployed youth. The platform allowed users to track progress and engage with interactive lessons, with a seamless experience on both desktop and mobile.
